
Ellen’s childhood revolved around dogs, horses, cats and sport transpiring in
representing Great Britain Eventing horses. Her natural premonition was a purpose
to help people and animals. As a teenager her sister, “mother” and soul mate died
as a result of a road traffic accident. Having lost her sense of self she explored other
areas; including pharmaceutical marketing. Having been seriously ill in her mid-
twenties she refound her childhood joy of sport and chose to become a Chartered
Physiotherapist. Having graduated in 2009 she worked across all specialities in the
NHS before becoming a private musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Her accolades
include working for Fulham Football Club, 2012 Paralympics and England Netball as
well as in private clinics in London. In addition she competed in Ironman triathlons
and currently runs ultras; including the Marathon Des Sables; a 250km self-sufficient
race in the Sahara desert and the Mustang Trail Ultra in the Himalayas.
After completion of a post-graduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation
she returned to the countryside of Cirencester and became an Advanced Practitioner
as a First Contact Physiotherapist within a Primary Care Network of 5 GP practices. To
complete her journey to provide the highest standards of qualifications to benefit her
love of animals she has completed an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy permitting her
to become an esteemed category A member of ACPAT.
